You can try with Windows Movie Maker.

And for non-free software try out Adobe Premiere.

DVD Shrink is designed specifically for copying DVD discs.
You can use this software in conjunction with your existing DVD burning software, to make a backup copy of any DVD video disc.

Key features included:

Full disc decryption & menus unlocked
Removal of all region codes
Full re-authoring of DVD content
Burn to any existing software ie; Nero

I don't think you understood the question.

I'm sorry but I don't think there will be any free software that will allow you to censor out parts of the video, it's just something that will take a long time.

I know this because when we were editing the Skarz dvd, we searched desperate for a piece of software to do the same thing.

He means put in beeps or cancel out the audio at the point of 'bad stuff'. DVD Shrink is definately the wrong way to go.

I've never used Windows Movie Maker but you can try that. Or try Avid Free. There are many tools out there.

i would go with adobe premier.

Not to sure on its features soz. Another good program i would sugest is pinnicle studio..its not free but has brilliant features...one verison i saw came with  a 6ft square rug for using a type of bluescreen so you could place the person in any other video with only there body being selected automatically and the green rug type of thing being not shown. just like they use for doing the weather on the TV!

hope that helps

Pete
