Task bar bug? by StardustPT on 10-26-2006 at 01:03 AM

I'm using Windows Live Messenger 8.0 and Plus! 4.01.0.240 (I think these are the most recent versions).

There's a problem with the task bar not showing up whenever I put the mouse cursor on top of it when it's set to Auto-hide! Is this a bug?

My friends don't have that problem, so is it safe to assume that has something to do with my PC?

This isn't a Messenger Plus! related problem as far as I know.

I'm almost sure it is, because I was using Windows Live Messenger 8.0 before and it was fine, that only happened when I installed Plus! It happens when I run it with maximized windows.

I've tried to uninstall/install both, but didn't solve the problem.

Try disabling the auto-hide feature, and enabling it
and as deAd said this shouldnt be a msg plus problem

So what could it be? Could it have something to do with the program?

No, probably not.

Thread reported for moving to Tech Talk, you may get a better answer there.

This has absolutely NOTHING to do with MsgPlus, WLM, or any messenger related service for that matter. Sometimes when I've got my task bar set to AutoHide, and I move my mouse over it, it won't show. Then if I move my mouse pointer away from the Task Bar area and move it over the area again the Task Bar will show.

Stop assuming. I just tried setting taskbar to auto-hide and it was clearly buggy. This is a fesh installation - I installed windows yesterday. It is entirely possible that Plus! is somehow causing a conflict.
