hey
i downloaded the new wlm 8.1 and when I try removing the program through add/remove programs it removes. But when i go to http://www.get.live.com/messenger/overview and download it, when I install it it stil says 8.1.
Can anyone tell me a way of removin 8.1?

If you want WLM 8.0, uninstall 8.1 and then try downloading from here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?F...b9d&DisplayLang=en

Try a Clean uninstall go to C" program files and fine MSN messenger and delete it then install wlm 8.0

You can make that with a graphics program like Photoshop or Gimp which was what i used.
