can anyone create a timer where you put a dsate in and it will count UP from this date and time? perferably to the minute

I'm assuming you want this in your personal message? If so, a simple search in these forums or a browse in the scripts database could have found you some.
I would suggest using Mattike's Countdown Live or NiteMare's CountDown. Both scripts offer countdowns and countups, and both can be set to update on the minute.
