Problem with "external link" of wlm 8.1 by Poska on 11-12-2006 at 09:59 AM

Hi,
i have discovered this morning a "minor" bug. When i click several times on a "external link" like "Billing Information", "Personalize Messenger" or "Billing Support", a new line in its parent menu is appearing.

i have made some screenshots:

I use wlm 8.1.0106 and it is patched with msncreative patch witch remove ads, tabs, ad polygamy and the unlimitated wizzs......

This is a WLM 8.1 bug, not a Plus!Live one.

You can check what is to blame as follows: uninstall Plus!Live and unpatch your messenger and see if you can still reproduce. If not..install Plus!Live again then try...as last step patch it up again (it might even have to do with your patch).

Edit: you're welcome :)

Oo the problem comes from the patch ;)

i have removed msgplus! live and wlm 8.1 and reinstall them. Works fine, just the patch witch will bug with Msgplus!live :s I will see what is the real problem with my patch ;)

Thanks a lot sunshine :)

To know for sure it is the interaction with your patch and Plus!Live which causes the problem, uninstall Plus! Live (but keep your patch) and try to reproduce it again.

If it still occurs, than it is totally the patch which messes up.

If it doesn't occur again, it is the interaction between Plus! and the patch.
