I enabled Multiple Accounts function, and another WLMsgr opens successfully however, when I try logging into another of my accounts, an error code came up unexpectedly.
This doesn't happen to me on the last version 4, just recently it happens when I use 4.1.
I tried searching for the error code (80048831) on google, but unfortunately, couldn't find what I anticipated, just show two websites that I don't understand their language.

this is cause by msgplus! live 4.1's multiple account function, whenever I sign in to another account, that problem occurs. Never had I encounter such problem with wlmsgr itself.
Reinstalling doesn't help unfortunately.

I have the same problem. I have one instance of MSN Live Messenger open and when I come to log into another, my second instance simply churns and churns. I never had this problem in the past. So I went to download the latest version released on Saturday and still no luck.

Error 80048831, occurs when trying to access MSN messenger.
This is becuase your password has expired and needs updating.

I put this post up in November 2006. The problem has long been solved. I unistalled the application, reinstalled it and it worked. I've never had to change my password.
