I have a file on my computer that is corrupt, if I try and delete it, I get an error saying its corrupt. RE: corrupt file by Felu on 11-18-2006 at 01:38 PM Try deleting with Unlocker. It kills all process associated with a file and also lets you delete a file on startup. Delete on Next Boot should do the trick for sure. RE: corrupt file by saralk on 11-19-2006 at 12:21 PM
That didn't work RE: corrupt file by Reaper on 11-19-2006 at 03:51 PM I had that problem on my external hard drive. What I did was run chkdsk /f/r <letter of drive> (example chkdsk /f/r C: ), and it made the file accessible. |
