I think my mum and dad are getting me a Wii for christmas, but i am going to buy the PS3 with my own money when it comes out.

Wii not doing as I though it would have, highest auctions I've seen it sell at 700$.
Wasn't the best date to release, 2 days after the PS3 was released, anyways.

Now anyone can get an Xbox 360 and they have no stock problems, as well when the Xbox was released, they had no competition, at all.

The Nintendo Wii is much better than the PS3 by leaps and bounds. It's physically more convenient and it features an absolutely sexy blue light, so what's not to love about that? While at first I found the special controller to be strange, its unique and original ability to enhance gameplay is really intriguing to me.
I've always loved PlayStation, but I could never see myself wasting money on a PS3 when they made such dreadful moves to try bringing in more cash. Ridiculous, if you ask me, especially since $250 was already a lot for me. I don't have the cash, but I do plan to get a Wii when I can. It looks great!

Today I went pre-ordering my Wii, on the 7th of December I'll be outside the shop when it opens. I think this isn't happened in Italy before.

Well, the plan was to get a PS3 for my Christmas (had considered importing from Japan) but since it's coming out in March, I'll probably get it for my birthday. Don't like the Xbox (never have) and the Wii....WTF???!!!??? (and actually yes I do know what it is, but I am refering to the way you play it)

I bought the PS3. I like many of the wii's games, but I dont really like the wii. Stupids wiis and gamecubes get Zelda, etc

The Wii is only doing well in sales because of its major price difference to PS3 and the Xbox 360 :\ if PS3 was that cheap then Wii wouldnt be half as "good" as its made out to be.

if PS3 was that cheap, it would no longer be able to have good graphics which is its only selling point, so the Wii wins either way.

I'm getting a PS3. Sure, the Wii's controller is probably amazing, but the titles for the Wii aren't anywhere near as good as some as the upcoming PS3 titles... namely: Grand Theft Auto 4, Final Fantasy XIII, Metal Gear Solid 4, Resident Evil 5, Devil May Cry 4, Tekken 6.... need I go on?

Originality? Last I heard the best title for the Wii was Legend of Zelda, closely followed by a Super Mario game...
The main games I see taking advantage of the Wiimote are sports games, such as bowling or maybe golf. Personally if I wanted to go bowling I'd go to a bowling rink. 
Admittedly, the titles are all sequels, but I would buy a PS3 just for Final Fantasy XIII, regardless of the price. (And will do, once it comes out here... fing European release dates)

The games are not better at all, the graphics may be better but everything else is practically the same as PS2, and if you think graphics make a good game then youre just wrong.

the reason why i think the ps3 is better because the features that are in it can be manipulated because it having a hard drive peaple will find ways to put a larger sizes even put a 200 gig in it , the wii is alright but i dunno it just doesnt appeal to me that much
