Windows Vista Beta 2 Issue (permissions) by Joe on 11-20-2006 at 06:13 PM

I installed Vista Beta 2 on a separate partition and I am told that I don't have access to the files. I need to know how to make the files have no restrictions.

Also, Is there a way to make the file saving automatically go to Drive C: instead of the partition I installed Vista in?

go to the user CP, remove your Password to log on, then create another password, and when it asks you if you want to make your files private, choose no.

Do this for whatever OS you are trying to acess your files from

Hope this helps.

it didn't ask me whether or not to protect my files.
