Xbox controller for PC by Hybrid on 11-23-2006 at 12:57 AM

I want to use my Xbox 360 controller for my PC but I don't know how since apparently I need to install something into or I don't know. I want to use this for Counter Strike: Source, Neverwinter Nights 2, and a load of other games so if you're good at this or think you might know what I should do please help :)

EDIT:

Okay I will, and thanks for the incredibly fast response

I purchased this at gamestop so maybe the way they make them isn't compatible with computers?

No, all official Xbox 360 controllers will work with the computers Microsoft has specified. Of course you'll need some software/drivers to use the controller.

It says that when I open game controllers from Control Panel I should see XNA Gamepad but I don't see anything like that.
Hmmm, I have to be doing something wrong...

Yeah but it doesn't detect the controller.
EDIT:
Okay so I looked at the "Add Hardware" and it detects it because in the listing it says "Madcatz 360" but it says that the drivers aren't installed. Now that link Ddunk sent me IS the drivers right?
EDIT:
Okay I did even more research and I think I need to buy something or whatever. I got a Toshiba Windows Media Center thing and it says I need to buy a service pack: Link
And here's a image:
