WowBB (not free) quote: quote:Define fast The actual server might be fast (if you define fast as the time waiting for the page to load), but the actual software slow RE: RE: Creating a Forum. by deAd on 11-25-2006 at 08:27 PM

I dont own any forums, but I would say myBB is the most user-friendly. RE: Creating a Forum. by Rob_BCFC on 11-26-2006 at 10:00 PM
Having used phpBB, vBulletin, SMF and IPB before, I personally would say use Invision Power Board. It is the most stable, easy to modify and professional system. They have a big company running it and have many other products coming out that integrate perfectly with it. There's also hundreds of free add-ons. Just installed PunBB to test it on my server, but I miss features like split and merge and move. RE: Creating a Forum. by Kenji on 11-27-2006 at 12:03 AM I am going with vBulletin, also my FTP will not upload anything, it says the disk space is full even though i have only used 5.7MB. Anyone have any ideas? RE: Creating a Forum. by Woraug on 11-27-2006 at 12:53 AM I use Invision. I think it's pretty easy to use. RE: Creating a Forum. by ShawnZ on 11-27-2006 at 01:14 AM

quote:I once had an Invision board, Invision's the best, especially for admins, lots of nice little features like the admin notepad. quote: Make sure you are logged on with proper permissions, etc..
