i say second design is the best and use a different font (since its vista, use calibri or segoe ui)

I'm having a argument with ross(absorbation) about the site and he says its horrible so i really do need opinions

It's not horrible. Sure it needs some improvements and some content () but I like the design idea. I'll go with number 5. Looks the best for me. The grey buttons fit perfect to the dark rest of the site.

No Horrible, as ins4ne said, but in my opinion, the bests are 2 or 5...

"No Horrible" Is that ment to be "Not"?

i think the fifth designis the best, i like number 3 aswell, i think you should maybe use a scroll sort of theing instead of a white divider for the vag menu thingy.

Hmm I see why you want to change the design

I'd say the best one is either the 2nd or the 1st design (I prefer the 2nd actually), the others have too much 'taskbar' written all over them.

..oh and yes, change the font.

It's alright, just a bit generic, i.e. exactly like every other site on the internet

Number 4 for sure. only the text link boxes on the left should ALL be the same size and shade.
