What the hell is this? I've never seen that before. It came after a reboot. I didn't install any big hardware, only my webcam yesterday .

Does anybody know how to solve that?

Seems to me like some sort of a hardware defect. But as for solutions, my only source would be google.

I tried google but the results are weird. Only redirects to sites that redirect to other sites and so on :(.

Nice hint man. It seems that my PCI usb card has some problems :/. I'll have a look :).

EDIT: But what is that texas instrument thing? The card isn't from them :S.

Its saying IEEE 1394 which is Firewire.

Theres something wrong with your firewire host controllor not usb.

Also your graphics card isn't in stalled properly. if you using anything firewire related disconnect it, Then right click and uninstall all of them.

reboot and that should be fixed.

windows might pick it up automatically or you will have to get the driver for it from the manufactures website.

althou my firewire controllor is the same name as they are :-0

What manufacture site? Motherboard (asus) or that Texas Instruments thingy?

First try uninstalling all the IEEE 1394's(texas things).
Including the one in the network adaptors bit.

OHCK Konformer IEEE 1394 host controller might remove all of them at once. maybe so just work your way down

Right click in on them in device manager > Uninstall.

Reboot.

Go to device manage it should be picked up automatically i think.

If not, Go to asus site & download the mother board drivers again.

Thats assuming your Firewire ports our on board ports on you motherboard?

Do you have a graphing calculator?
Because that might be the issue.

Ok. I don't know how I did and I don't want to know but the problems are gone. I searched a bit and I've been told that windows sometimes tells about conflicts where in fact aren't any :undecided:.

So admins close the thread.
