Windows X Is probably one of the biggest, but it does a COMPLETE system transformation, (Vista Transformation Pack 6), its ok but ive gone off it, VTP 6 isn't that good in my opinion.
DeviantArt also has some good looking Vista Visual Styles :)

EDIT: Cleaned up my post a bit :$

The "cool" Vista messenger look is not what it looks like in vista it self, in vista its just the normal look of wlm, but the skin as made to put a vista feel to messenger

RE: Windows Vista theme by EspadaStyle on 07-15-2008 at 01:33 PM

I tried to use deviant art..but..i dunno how to put it inside so that it'll become a theme..anyone noes how to do that?..Its like..i have 3 files..and i dunno how to make it become a theme

RE: Windows Vista theme by vaccination on 07-15-2008 at 01:53 PM

If you're uploading it to DA, put the files in a zip file and upload that.

RE: Windows Vista theme by Aardvark on 07-15-2008 at 02:04 PM

I think he means he downloaded a theme from DA and wants to apply it.

First you need to patch your uxtheme.dll (google how to do this). Once this is patched, doubleclick the .msstyles file and click ok to apply it. You might also want to copy the folder with the msstyle file to %systemroot%\Resources\Themes so that if you ever open Display Properties again and want to change your theme, it will always display in the list of possible theme choices.

RE: Windows Vista theme by EspadaStyle on 07-17-2008 at 12:40 PM

Errh..not that i want to upload it to deviant..i downloaded it from there..and i dunno how to use it

RE: Windows Vista theme by EspadaStyle on 07-17-2008 at 01:04 PM

And i had to install replacers and stuff.. and it was complicated...so i used the multipatcher to do it for me..suddenly the theme change to windows classic and they said trying to replace system files with unrecognised files..please insert windows xp cd..so i system restored the comp.

that's supposed to happen... it says to click cancel when those open.

also, doing a system restore was a bad idea. you should undo it and uninstall it properly :p
