Hello everyone, im currently creating a website new layout for my website and i have put it onto a freewebs account and i want you guys to check it out and tell me what you think and/or ideas or things you could see improve

Well this is up to you but I hate those underlined links you could make the links change when highlighted or whatever also I noticed that Sulake like to change their backrounds on their various habbo hotel pages (eg www.habbo.com) in the year maybe you could do the same. Also maybe a links page to all the habbo hotels all over the world that would be cool.

good layout but the text scroll thing at the top goes little bit slow in my opininon and i also think you should extend it out the whole way:

I think its really good. I think the speed of the scroll is fine . Better for readers who may read slower than others. What Lourix said about the links to habbo hotels of the world really would be cool

I use to own a Habbo fansite, like yours, but with a proper domain, habbiz.com (doesn't work any more). Edit: Oh god, someones bought the domain and made a terrible website .

In addition to the scroll bar marquee being longer, I think it should be faster aswell (both top and bottom scroll bar).

For the title at the top, maybe get various random images, so every time you reload it's different. With different pictures of public rooms.

The layout is nice, just needs more content.

Well it seems everyone has something to say about the marquees I will adjust the top one and remove the bottom one and make links to pages with that required information, hows that sound??

Everyone also thinks it should be a little faster so i will fiddle with the speed a bit to make it scroll at a better speed

Various images i can do Chris thanks will have a look...

Content is coming once i get the layout done, and there is a proper domain, i just didnt use it incase i got told off for advertising

That's exactly it. Not only do marquees force people who read faster than the scroll to stop and wait for the words to appear while becoming frustrated because they don't want to read it anymore, people almost never read content on websites, they scan it. I totally agree with Plik, lose any and all <marquee> tags.
