'Away' and 'Busy' status by limpeh23 on 01-05-2007 at 02:06 AM

I need some advice here.

I created my personal status and wanted to display it, but I realised that I had to choose either 'busy' or 'away' to show to my contacts as well. Is it possible to do away with both these statuses and just solely display my personal status?

For example, if my personal status was 'went out to eat', it's understood that I'm away isn't it? Therefore I don't see the need to show my contacts that I'm 'away' again behind my personal status.

Apologies if this has already been asked before. Thanks in advance for any advice given.

It doesn't show that. You choose between Away or Busy because of the icons- The MSN Logo with the clock and the MSN logo with the busy sign. It may seem like it shows (Personal Status) and then (Away/Busy) after it, but you're the only one that sees that (and people that do not have msg plus! installed...), but if you've yourself added to your contact list, you can see it is not shown to other contacts.
