hey guys,

As I got a sony erricson w810i I googled to find cool theme, apps and ringtones when I stumbled on a piece of software that seemed really cool : Sony Ericsson Theme Creator.

Basicly this software allows you to create themes for your cellphone and so, I decided to give myself a shot for the "vista theme".

I am done yet, before releasing it on the theme site, I wanted to have an opinion from you guys as many of you are "themers".

So here it is, feel free to be honest.

Final theme is now online at my mini theme website : http://themes.albys.net

The theme is made for the w810i but it seems to be compatible with other phones. If you have another phone than the w810i, please send me a pm telling me if it worked or not, it's appreciated!

ooks really cool.

But one thing. I don't like the meny hovering, when selecting an opinion. I think it makes it too blig.

Nice, that's good work. I made my own theme a while back for my w810i as well, I wanted a really simple black theme. Here's the preview.

It is true that this is the impression you have looking at the screenie. But luckily, when you're using the phone, you can only select one thing a a time ( the hovering ) so it comes up not that bad.

If this is your first one then your next one (if you do make another) should be spectacular :cheesy: Also I think the colours do go with everything .

The offwhite will stay, I will simply change the background color.

Now I understand what the bg was all about.

I thought th ebackground had to do behing the image, that's why I did it all white.

I'll update it soon.

Btw, anyone knows how to optimize some pictures (by optimizing I mean making them smaller without losing quality)? Is there anykind of software that would be of use?

This color is the same used for the text that isn't selected.. ANd I think it matches..

Nice theme
If you want to take it a bit further, then, you can make your own menu icons for your phones by editing a file in the "internal" file system of your phone which you can not access by normal ways.

thanks, although I prefer to keep everything classy for my pc..

Found a bug

If you take a picture and delete it, all you see is a white box where it says "are you sure you want to delete..."

K750i btw.

Doesn't seem to happen on the w810i.. But I will try to look into converting the theme for the K750 and checking what the problem could be.
