everytime i try send a custom sound over msg plus i just get a code even though me and the recipient both have plus, i have tried googlin the problem with no sucess and used the library fix i found on this site.
WLM version 8.0
Plus version 4.11

Have you read through the Custom sound feature error report thread to see if your problem was inthere?
What code?

If this is the user that came on IRC, all the user sees is "/sound <identifier here>" and all settings were checked.

right i've looked through that thread and done all the things possibly related to the problem, but as usual no luck...

wow i don't believe it, i actually managed to solve the problem after all this time, i went into msg plus preferences, main then conversations and then re-ticked the little box that says "enable commands". now all sounds work
