i don't know this is posible and some peoble don't find this usefull but i do 
remove the main msn window (contactwindow) from the taskbar 
(but still let the msn icon in the system tray thingy 
)
i find this usefull becaus i have 2 screens and i never close that window
i just leave it on my second screen

You mean what happens when you close the contact window?

Messenger Pus! Live Enhancer has this as one of its options.
