[Help] how to execute programs using a chat trigger by icepick66 on 01-11-2007 at 05:37 PM

Hey, i was wondering how to you execute programs through a script that works like the windows run,
e.g cmd, regedit

i wanted it to be able to run a program from a remote pc using a  password.

e.g: run [password]
would run cmd.exe

Thanks a lot :)

You don't need a script for that.

Use the Plus! command /run to execute a program locally.

There are a lot of implications and security issues with that since you need to enter the password in a chat.

Either way, there are already some scripts which provide you which such feature. Search forums with a search term like 'remote'. No need to invent the wheel twice.

There are lots of scripts which gives remote control to one or more contacts. A good script would be PlusRemote, which lets you see everything happening on a "server" pc when you're logged in with a password.

Sorry to ask, but did you actually used the search option?
