question. with 7.5 plus i know a friend had a function where if someone opened his text box.. he would receive an alert.. even if they didnt message him.... does Live! Plus also have this function?

This is unreliable now due to the way messenger communicates getting changed in newer versions and the newer version changes will also effect the older versions (unless all your contacts are on 7.5).
