Can someone help me find sound drivers for my laptop, I have been searching for almost a week now and havent found any:sad:

Here is my mobo details, and my laptop is a Packard Bell L4014 if that helps :p

Check the Windows Update site... AC'97 is a pretty common board and they might have drivers (actually, they do). If it doesn't work, you might have a problem with your audio board.

You might also want to try to get the drivers from the recovery CD that came with your notebook.

Oh, and make sure you have Windows XP Service Pack 2.

Oh, well if you are on Vista, it is possible that the drivers you are trying to install are not compatible...

Try getting the Vista drivers from the following page:

They didnt work :sad:

I have made a thread on the Packard Bell Forum, if i dont get anything within a few Days, ill bump this thread or something. Unless anyone here can solve my problem :wink:
