Is anyone good with flash?

all i want to do is ad a motion tween so that a splat appears, with a few splat marks, but it jus kind of zooms atm.

does anyone have any advice?

also, how can i make a letter pop up, zoom in so its slightly bigger, then zoom out as it 'lands' on the background?
