Screen won't start after opening it by Thor on 01-31-2007 at 04:02 PM

Hi. :)

My laptop has behaved just nicely with Vista, and perfect with XP. However, now that I installed Vista, everything worked except one thing; if I close the laptop, and then open it again, it won't start. The PC is all on, but the screen doesn't start.

I don't know if this is a Vista problem, but I highly doubt that it's a hardware problem, because it worked nicely on XP.

Any ideas/solutions?

And btw, Quickplay/the manager for the "blue buttons" on a HP Pavilion, is it downloadable for Vista, and if it is where?

Thanks. :)

EDIT: Nobody else? :\

That's already checked. I have it so that if the power is connected, Vista isn't supposed to do anything.
Only if the wire isn't connected. Anyhow, if it were set to sleep, it would have reacted if I pushed a key or moved my mouse.

:S

Sorry to double post, but no other ideas?

It's really annoying. :\
