Can't access Messenger Plus! Features for one contact. by Kyle2468 on 02-09-2007 at 05:21 AM

Hello!

I can't seem to access the "Messenger Plus! Features" for a single contact when right clicking their username. This is a very annoying bug, because I would like to place them on my desktop. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
~Kyle~

OK what version of Messenger Are you using?

If your on Windows Live Messenger, check that you don't have more than one email stored for that contact by right clicking on the contact-> Edit Contact -> Contact. If there are more email addresses there, delete them and that should solve the problem.

XD I somehow managed to make it work without doing this on one specific computer. I am now on my laptop, and want to do it. However I would like to keep all the emails on my contact for convenience when using Windows Live Mail.

Is there a workaround of any kind that would allow me to use the functionality?

Or better yet, where are the settings for my profile saved? I could just copy and paste them.

why not just transfer them to the notes section? should work without a problem.

A workaround is inevitable due to new Contact Updates feature of Windows Live Messenger.
