how do i get the color nick for msg live? i only new how get it for older version not live..

in any conversation window, type "/name" without the quotes, then add your desired screen name. use the colour pallette icon next to the Plus! logo to choose the colours you want

lol... i dun quite understand mite have done wrong tho i will try again thankz but i mean on old msg i used be able go site download color nick v 2 i think it wuz then go to prefence's and make it like all tripy like so it cod be like black and fad in to like green then bak in to black or like stuff like dat... no what i mean?

Colornick v2 is outdated.. try putting this into your name:

If you want to try different colours and do it the proper way, in the contact list:
Tools> Options > Display Name > Format codes> Click on the T> Gradient Text> Choose 2 colours and it should put [c=number][/c=number] and then put your screen name in between [c=number][/c=number] and it should be coloured.

if my name has colour, does people without Messenger Plus will see it? or they will see the [c=14] etc'.

They will not see the colour if they don't have Messenger Plus Live.

I dunno that thing that makes your text fade into another colour its not working

for some reason my gradient text isnt in the option thing.
