I just need to embed a mp3 file in a powerpoint presentation, but it needs to be .wav, which i know is worse quality... whats the safest and trusted program i could use to convert it?

.wav is not worse quality. If anything .mp3 is. wav is an uncompressed sound file. mp3 is the opposite so it will inherit some quality loss.

JPEG owns @ filesize but fair quality, Bitmap sucks @ filesize but good quality

Oh know.... i used that program, and now, when i make videos, and put them on my computer from usb mode, you can only hear the audio, and there is no video.... but you can watch it on the camara. what happened?

.avi is just a file type. There are many different codecs using for them. Try 3ivx on google.

Uninstall it and reimport them. If it still happens then it's not the app.

Download it, install it. It just works with your media player, you don't have to do anything.
