If you are in a conversation with more than one person involved and you close the chatwindow, you have to leave the conversation.

i think you should make a feature that makes the conversation go stand by instead, til you close your computer, or everyone leaves. and when the conversation updates, a standdard, *** says window pops up from the right bottom corner

Hmmm... nice idea. Though I also can see some problems with chats being left open "for ever" and forgotten with this... Although that could be solved to I guess, in a way.

On the other hand, with tabbed chats on, this shouldn't be a problem since chats only have 1 taskbar button in that case anyways. But with tabbed chats off, this could be handy... Although it would be very similar to what tabbed chats are doing (avoiding clutter on the taskbar). So in the end, maybe just enabling tabbed chats is just as good...
