Messenger Plus 4.20 by marc87 on 03-01-2007 at 04:27 AM

I Just  downloaded Messenger Plus  4.20 and i have a question. When you open a msn convoversation and click on the plus! icon there  used to be a list of  some of the  scripts installed.  I dont seem to have the list there anymore are all the scrips now /    ??? Or do i have to reinstall  the scripts ? :S

Thanks for any help

Lol, wait till Patchou posts. But anyways.

The Plus Icon that used to have scripts has been split into a new scripts button of its own.

That's no stupid question. I hope this change will make things clearer in the long run but there will have to be a small adaptation period :).

If those icons aren't there or in the contact list window then there's no way to access the option?

If so then I might make a feature request post...

That's what I meant. Any way to access the script's options? Rather than Messenger Plus's script options. I don't want to turn them on or edit them, just use them. Help?

If those icons aren't there, then you probably unchecked the options that enables them.

So, go Plus! > Preferences > Messenger... and make sure this is checked. Then, those icons will be added (might require you to restart messenger).

Rolando: That was a new feature added to the new beta.  4.2x doesn' have that ability through the preferences and you have to go through the registry to enable or disable them.  Maybe you should familiarize yourself with the change log 8-)

What was asked however is for some method of accessing that script menu without the icons enabled, for example, make another part in the main toolbar called "Scripts" along with "Files", "Plus!", etc so that the menu is still accessable.

Why are you using 4.20 anyways? You should go ahead here and download 4.23.273 :undecided:

Bah, Markee, learn to search for an option before you go criticizing other people's knowledge :/

Yes, sorry, it was down the bottom of that window.  Silly Patchou changing everything around.

This is in version 4.23.0.276

Consider this post a feature request; for the script's options to be viewable from the scripts window in Messenger Plus! Live.
