When I close Aodbe Acrobat it stops after a while, but soemtimes it stays forever. I tried disabling the service from within Administrative Tools/Services but it keeps popping up anyway. Is there a way to terminate this service forever? RE: "FNPLicensingService.exe" in Task Manager by rix on 03-09-2007 at 12:38 PM fnplicensingservice.exe is a Activation Licensing Service from Macrovision Europe Ltd. belonging to FLEXnet Publisher. This is not a critical component, so yes, you can remove it using WinTasks. RE: "FNPLicensingService.exe" in Task Manager by Mike on 03-09-2007 at 01:58 PM
Or, may I suggest Foxit Reader for viewing PDFs? RE: RE: "FNPLicensingService.exe" in Task Manager by alegator on 03-10-2007 at 12:54 AM
quote:Isn't Wintasks like Windows Task Manager? I mean, that it will allow you to stop the running process but not uninstall it from the system permanently? In the latter case, how do you do it? Thanks. RE: "FNPLicensingService.exe" in Task Manager by Mike on 03-10-2007 at 01:14 AM
quote:No, WinTasks is a different program. Search Google for it (it's not free however) RE: "FNPLicensingService.exe" in Task Manager by alegator on 03-10-2007 at 02:27 AM Yes, I know it's a different program, but I was not aware it was capable of permanently uninstalling background processes. RE: "FNPLicensingService.exe" in Task Manager by ShawnZ on 03-10-2007 at 04:14 AM i believe rix just copied from the google result he got on the executable, on the wintasks site. |
