i got this cheap laptop thats been sitting in my cupboard, £20! lol, ive decided it is good to use in the living room but windows 98 is poo, it has 56mb ram>.<

Anyone have any suggestion for software to install?

Are Themes possible?

I already have 'Best OF Entertainment' pack installed, anyone have anything else along those lines?

Install Win2K, I've installed it on computers with less ram.

whats the upsides of doing that?

EDIT: don't have a working cdrom drive so can't do that!

Hey, sounds like we are in the same boat (I also have a old win98 laptop without a working CD drive). And I want cool stuff.
