Is there any free programs out there that let you run your own proxy server on your computer?

I've already searched Google but couldn't find any.

I was currently trying to do this from a webpage.. I know many members have an online proxy.. If anyone could explain to me how to set it up on my domain I would be pretty thankful.

(Sorry to take over your thread by the wa, but the issue is about the same.)

You could try FreeProxy.

Or run a web server with a proxy script installed...

PHProxy - http://whitefyre.com/poxy/
CGIProxy - http://jmarshall.com/tools/cgiproxy/

And of course there are other options... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Proxy_server#Popular_proxy_software

www.anonypath.com i used that a lot but they blocked the web page, so i put the code in an email and sent it to myself so it worked again (so long as you view it in html mode)

Can't you just launch a VBScript on login and it automatically sets the computer to a proxy, i know we do that at school, because it doesn't save the settings we save so the proxy closes after logout :)
