avi/wmv (not needed, but maybe mov) to flv? by prashker on 04-05-2007 at 03:05 AM

Where would I find such a utility that is pretty good and does not do a crappy job.

I wouldn't like to lose quality but if it needs to be reduced a bit it's possible.

WHat programs can turn avi and wmv and maybe mov to flv?

Thanks :)

If you were running a Mac I'd say VisualHub.

As for windows.... I'd look into using ffmpeg or virtualdub.

Good luck!

I think the best way - converting video into flash using FlashConv. It's powerful tool, which converts avi, asf, wmv, mov... to swf or flv without any quality losses. Easy to use. So i advise you to try it.

Re-encoding to any other format will always create quality loss.
