I'm not too sure what's going on here.. It may be intentional, but i don't see why :undecided:

why are there two "you last visited at hr:mn:" on /index.php?

The first one is global, and the second one is just on the index. Sure it's redundant, but I think it kinda makes sense to have the last visit time and the current time right next to each other like that. :p

So why isn't the current time in the main header? if anything, that (imo) would have made more sense than what it is now..

Because you don't need that on every page... most people have a taskbar clock anyway. :p Knowing the current forum time is still useful though, like for making sure your time zone settings are correct.

I imagine lots of people bookmark the index and/or arrive at the board via that page, so it's nice to have both times right there.
