My msn won't keep logging out!!! by royal.gigolo on 04-29-2007 at 08:30 PM

First of all, i'm sorry if this has been posted before but i'm new to this forum and i need immediate help.

So the thing is, i've had serious problems with my old msn 7.5 so i just switched to Msn Live. Now the problem i my msn is logging in normally but after some time (5 minutes maybe) it loggs off alone, the it logs in after like 30 seconds or immediatly if i say so. It says ''connection to msn has been lost'' or something like that.

I look in my antivirus and spyware and msn is allwed in the network. Nothig is blocking it. I tried the repair function in the control panel, but it still does this. Hell, i've even re-installed it and it still logs off and on alone.
Can someone help me quick?

Thanks in advance

Firstly, you put this thread in MsgPlus! Help & Support, so I'm guessing that was by accident. Do you have MsgPlus! Live ?

Firewall?

Is your modem connected directly to your PC or are you using a router?

Do you ever have any problems with viewing websites or anything else other than WLM?

I don't have problems with the internet itself since I can access all sites. My Warcraft 3 has been screwing up a little as well though. It's nothing major tho so I don't know if to call this a coincidence or a chain reaction.

My problems in Warcraft 3 are disconnects, but I don't call this major since it usually happens to everyone. It's due to the fact the players' locations in the world are very distant from each other, which gives a hard time to the connections to keep up.

In WLM, go to Tools > Options > Connections

quote:
You are connected to .NET Messenger Service.

You are connected to the internet through a wired network connection.

You are connected to the Internet using a direct connection. (Administrator)

Is yours the same?

It's exactly the same. Just logged off/on again though...

This happens to me frequently too.

Perhaps the distance from you to the server is very far as well?

Or maybe your Internet connection itself has problems? I have had at one point, bad Internet connection that cause something like this.
