need a file... by joey on 05-21-2007 at 02:45 PM

hi, i have a Goodmans GMP32005 2GB mp3 player, and it has a file called "brwsdb.tcc", unfortunately, the damn thing is corrupted.

so i was wondering if anyone has that[or similar]mp3 player, so that they could send/pm/give me the code for the file so i can sort it out. ive :google:d a bit for it but found nothing and i sucks because i got it at netto for £15

anyway if anyone can help tell me!!! =p

On the Goodman's support site there should be the latest firmware download for it, if you reinstall that it should restore the file (it's how I did it when I messed up my MP3 :P)

Edit: its probably me but i cant find any firmware for it, or the file :dodgy:

Is it just me or does "brwsdb" sound like a database for browsing?

Makes me think that this contains the list of artists and albums present on your player.

Just do what ayjay said.

yes your right, it tells the mp3 player whats in the disk and where basically, i cant just delete everything in the file, as its a binary file, then would make the problem even worse  and i cant find anywhere that does a goodmans GMP32005 firmware at all.

My point was that you couldn't just use someone else's. That wouldn't work now, would it?

i just want a blank one, and anyway, its not meant to be binary btw, it [was] just text that could be edited, not that i did =p
