Hello,

I had bought Windows Vista 64-Bit Ultimate, I was wondering what is the diffrence between 32 bit and 64 bit? everything seems the same to me :s

all my softwares that ran on XP are russing on it...

64bit supports more than 4GB RAM. Thats about it.

the other differences are:
64bit gives u a whole 32 more bits
allows your processor to process 64 bits at a time
and does not support certain hardware

You'd think so. Actually, most 32-bit processors have been able to work on 80 bits at a time, the [typical] size of a real in C.

EDIT: You should note that the floating point registers in the new 64-bit processors are actually 128 bit wide.
