if you get a plus or a neg from someone, then they are banned, does that rep still count towards your reputation? probably n00bish and really obvious. =p

If you do implement this, could you also add auto-removal of reps by deleted/pruned members as I've seen (I can't remember where) a rep by "deleted member"

I think it should be that you hide them from being seen/counted against you (if that's possible) without deleting them, just in case the ban is lifted.

o.o... I guess what qgroessl said makes sense... in a way. Permabans are not supposed to be lifted anyways, toddy was the exception.

I'll manually delete any votes given by deleted members, or members who are banned for 6 months or more. Just report them if you find any. They're so rare that integrating the reputation system with the banning/deleting code doesn't seem worth the extra effort.

Well just because a member is permanently banned doesn't mean that their opinion of a person isn't valid. If it still fits in with the reputation guidelines I don't see why it shouldn't stay - otherwise fair enough it should be deleted but not for the reason that the member is banned.
Interesting that nobody has complained about positive reps from permanently banned members...
