Hello...
I have had a quick look and I hope that I am not reposting something that has been posted before.. if that is the case I shall appologise now.
Using windows live plus messenger plus 4.21.0.270
Ok I have found that sice installing latest plus version....
Messenger extremely slow to sign in, change online status etc...
also
my personal message never stays there from when i last sign out.
also
my name changed... from my personal name to my name that i am resistered as. eg: from princess trace (as i had it displayed) to tracey.
is this something i have done? or just a little bug that will be worked out????

What messenger version are you using? (Help > About messenger)
Also, did this happen in plus! live 4.20?

and no.. just in the last few days have all of these been happening. I don't know if all are related or not but frustrating all the same.

Messenger Plus! Live, also any other addons such as Stuffplug or MessengerDiscovery Installed or did you ever have them at one stage?

Note that these problems are not because of Messenger Plus! Live!...
Such problems are the cause of MSN server hickups and maybe even a bad cache. All nothing todo with Messenger Plus! Live.
Thus updating to the latest versions (although this is always good) isn't going to solve the problem.

Even if Messenger Plus! wasn't installed you still would have had this problem.
That means that MS itself should fix this (eg: reboot the server).
From time to time these things can happen, nothing to worry about. Though if it occurs more frequently or it doesn't get fixed all by itself within a day or two, it is best to contact Microsoft about it at:
