You are currently using a 64bit version of Messenger.

You are currently using a 32bit version of Messenger.
Is there a contradiction with these two quotes? Should it be fixed?

I believe technically there isn't a 64bit version of Messenger, even when running a 64bit Windows OS Messenger will still run in 32bit mode.

Either it will only display "using a 64bit version of Messenger" when running a 64bit Windows OS, or it currently doesn't display that line at all and it's just put there to be prepared for the future?

In both cases not something that must be changed IMO.

It would display the 64-bit version string if you were really running the (Patchou-presumed-would-be-there-in-the-future) Messenger. 64-bit applications are not able to use 32-bit loaders so the message.

Anyway, it's nothing to fix.

+1 for Mnjul

Messenger Plus! Live can be compiled in 64bits if Microsoft decides to release a 64bits version of Messenger someday. If that happens, then you'll need the correct version of Plus! as 32/64 won't mix (this does not apply when using Messenger x86 in Windows x64).
