Hi,
Previous in 7.5, there was a Staff plugin SPNG that allows you to
know when your contact opens a window with you or closes your
window, any idea where could we still get that for live?

And in case you wonder, you can find the current version of StuffPlug on http://www.stuffplug.com. Please note however, that it does not have the feature you requested because of the reasons in the post scott2010_h linked to you.
