What do you mean with "automatic msg for a Messenger Plus! sound"? What kind of Messenger Plus! sound? A custom sound? A notification sound? A build-in sound?

----------------

Since the away message doesn't have any associated sounds, I assume you you're talking about a build-in sound like when you type "/shello" in a conversation:

All those commands for the build-in sounds allow you to enter your own text after the command. So: "/shello GoodDay Sir" will send "GoodDay Sir" and play the sound, instead of sending the default "Hello!".

You can also change the texts permanently. For this you need to alter the translation file of Messenger Plus!. So open the translation file you currently are using in Notepad or something (you'll find those files in the "C:\Program Files\Messenger Plus! Live\Languages" directory).

In that file search for the section "[SoundCommands]", there you can change the texts.

In any way, you don't need any scripts for all this.

----------------

In case you didn't meant the build-in sounds, could you give a more descriptive explaination of what sounds you're exactly talking about? (a screenshot will always help)...

----------------

;)

I think that she wants an "Auto Sound Message" to be played instead of the writed message ("Auto Message")....
If it's this, you can add the comand you want on the answer.... And it will be recognized as a comand and will play the sound....

indeed....

To elaborate more, instead of putting some text in the "auto-responder" edit box, you can enter commands. Just like you can do it in conversation windows; as it is the "auto-responder" text which is simply send as a conversation text.

So this includes all the commands build into Messenger Plus! like the build-in sound like /shello, /smad, /sdoh, etc But also custom emotion sounds with the command /sound, and many other commands...

PS: when you do use a sound command, you and your contact wont see the prefix text "xxxx auto-message:" though.

I used to set custom sounds in away messages eg...

Contact: Hi
Nile Plumb is on the toilet... be back in a bit.....hopefully :|
Contact: ok
Nile Plumb sends sound: Toilet Flush

using the old way of having 2/3/4/... messages in each away message :)
