erase sign in names by thelab123 on 07-03-2007 at 12:02 PM

Can anybody advise me, how do I erase list of people who already signed in on my computer, please? My ex signed in on my laptop and if my current gf sees it I m in trouble. :-)

Cheers

just remove the "remember me" tick, at the point of signing in, for that contact.

I tried it. Unfortunately it didn't help. If it was OK, I wouldn't post here but I should say to thelab123 that s/he must first select the address from drop-down list and click on "Forget me" sentence which is under the "Remember me" option on sign-in page of Contact List window.

That doesn't work either. Thare is only "Forget password" option not a forget user.

IIRC you can erase them by going to:

Start -> Run: Type "control userpasswords2"

go to the 'Advanced' tab and press the 'Manage Passwords' button.

There is a bug in the Dutch version of windows where this does not work

I think I forgot to mention one important thing. I have a an Apple Powerbook.. All your answers are probably right, unfortunately don't solve my problem. Any Mac experts out there?

Cheers

Also express that on which program or website you want to erase signin names.

I reported this thread for to be moved to MSN/Windows Live Messenger forum but if your case is different report this thread again for to be moved to another suitable forum (maybe Tech talk).
