Party media player by Reaper on 07-03-2007 at 08:24 PM

In Windows XP Media Centre Edition, there was a fucntion that used WMP and made into some sort of party thing, not sure what it was called. It only allowed people to access the songs and other features of the app. Is there a stand-alone program that can do something like this, hopefully something that is iTunes compatible?

you can still get it, install in a vm (with xp),  and copy the files over to vista and run in compatibility mode ;)

its a bad idea anyway. people dont like the music being changed every 30 seconds at a party and people dont like going up and using the laptop to chose a song. just make a party playlist in windows media player, put it on shuffle. and close the lid :D

Try Traktor DJ Studio,  Virtual DJ or ClubDJPro although I recommend Traktor DJ, best for DJing it yourself. ClubDJPro mixes the musics automaticly, although the beats can not match... best? do it yourself... Traktor also has really nice effects to add on the songs :P

oh, ClubDJPro also has VJ feature, you can connect another monitor and have photos random displaying with the sound of the music and you can add effects on the photos, or you can put the wmp thingys... lol
