low resource security by Supersonicdarky on 07-10-2007 at 04:17 PM

anyone know a firewall/antivirus which is very low on resources?

The Windows-built-in firewall is great enough for me and I think it consumes fairly low resource.

As for Antivirus, they say NOD32 is low on resource. I personally only tried NOD32 and PC-Cillin before so I can only recommend you that one.

NOD32 is known to be one of the fastest around, and it runs quite light on resources. Never experienced the slowdowns like i used to have on Norton (reason that i switched).

Nod32 and Windows Firewall, it's the best combination I've found. =]
