Seems my computer refuses to connect to the network despite it having a working network card and the network cables being in full working order RE: Network problems by roflmao456 on 08-04-2007 at 01:33 AM
how is your computer connected? RE: Network problems by Rob Scrivener on 08-04-2007 at 08:29 PM Mine is the same setup, worked before but decided to stop working RE: Network problems by kao on 08-04-2007 at 10:03 PM
Any errors on the PC like "network cable unplugged"? type 'ipconfig /all' into command prompt and make sure you have an IP etc. RE: Network problems by Rob Scrivener on 08-05-2007 at 01:31 AM It has the icon at the bottom and says it's connected at 10m/bits per second, but I know that 10 m/bits per second means it isn't connected at all RE: Network problems by Jarrod on 08-05-2007 at 02:06 AM
is it assigning you an ip address? RE: Network problems by matty on 08-05-2007 at 01:02 PM
If it is possible unplug the cable from your PC and the Router and swap the ends. RE: Network problems by ShawnZ on 08-05-2007 at 01:09 PM

RE: Network problems by Rob Scrivener on 08-05-2007 at 09:50 PM Well whenever i've seen it say that, the network hasn't been working RE: Network problems by kao on 08-06-2007 at 05:50 AM Are you being assigned a damn IP address? RE: RE: Network problems by Rob Scrivener on 08-06-2007 at 07:24 PM I set it manually because it's even worse if I tell it to assign me one RE: Network problems by Snake on 08-06-2007 at 07:30 PM Almost sounds like your router may be on the frits. Your routers DHCP should be handling internal IP's. Setting the computers with a Static could cause problems. What kind of router do you have?
