Those changes are restored when you reset your router....

oh and also...

steven, if you are using FF...

reset your router, and then select on FF > Tools > Clear Private Data > Select Cookies and Saved Passwords > Clear Private Data Now

and try to log in again...

on IE6..

Tools > Internet Options > Content > Auto Complete > Clear forms & Clear Passwords > OK

and try to log in again...

and remember the  Dlink 624 has as a default "admin" and "blank" << no characters at all..

Well I think I reset it. If i reset it, my ip will change fursure correct? I just hit the reset button with a pen at the bottom of the router. I will try turning it off overnight.

if you reset your router you will see that the lights of your router will start *flickering* and they will turn off also, that's the way to see if you are reseting it properly... :)

and if you are on a DHCP circuit your IP will change everytime you turn off/on your router/modem

You might need to hold the little reset button.
