i downloaded windows live messenger and i downloaded msgpluslive-423 but i cannot see it when i open windows plus in add and remove applications when i look at Messenger Plus i see a little red sign that looks like a block sign beside it...what should i do

That is normal, that is the Uninstall Icon.

so then how do i make the messenger plus itself work
