Ok now my network is a bit of messed up here it is how it looks....
1. An ADSL2 router (Huawei, SmartAX MT882) which connects me to the internet.
2. An 8-port ethernet router (pluged in are 10. ADSL2 router, 20. A computer, 30. A wire which is connected to 3.)
3. A 4 ports thernet wirless router (U.S.Robotics, model 9108) the router is also the print server.
4. to this router (3.) my laptop is connected via WIFI and the internet runs pretty smooth.
5. to this router (3.) my printer is also connected (HP, Deskjet 3940)
now what I am having problem is that I can not access my 3. router by simply typing (192.168.1.1) this address leads me to 1. and I for one have no clue what the IP of my 3. is now...
its like this if I disconect the cable which connects 2. to 3. I can access 3. with the above mentioned IP address but once connected it does not.
I tryed to connect my printer a lot but it didnt worked out...
I want to be able to use the printer with both my laptop (4.) and my computer (2.20.)
pretty confusing right

they've got the same IP, change 2's ip to 192.168.2.1 or something...

I think you meant 3.s IP....
Ok now I have been trying to chage its IP address but have not been able to.... here is the reson (attached pic) there is no option to save the changes i make.

Ok now more problem I was able to chage the IP address of the us robotics router, but now after it restarted i am totally not able to access it... windows says "unidentified network"

I have managed to reset the router, and have done all of the settings to, also changed the gateway DHCP address of the US robotics router to 192.168.2.1 but no avail....
when I a plug the wire of my ethernet (2.) into it it only detects 1. not usr router
noone's helpin
