Hey guys, I need your big juicy brains here, I need your honest views on the new Messenger Stuff which I will be releasing very very soon. RE: Need opinions on new msgstuff.com by Menthix on 08-28-2007 at 10:47 PM Make it variable width or you will be executed!! I like the new design ;o RE: Need opinions on new msgstuff.com by absorbation on 08-29-2007 at 10:42 AM
I can't use a variable width for a variety of reasons. Some divs/ images need a fixed width. I'll try and come to some form of solution, but I use different stylesheets based on user's resolution. RE: Need opinions on new msgstuff.com by Nathan on 08-29-2007 at 11:03 AM
I tested it in 2560x1600 and its ok. RE: Need opinions on new msgstuff.com by Lou on 08-29-2007 at 01:35 PM

RE: Need opinions on new msgstuff.com by user35870 on 08-29-2007 at 03:47 PM Yes, not sure what's happening there. RE: Need opinions on new msgstuff.com by Nathan on 08-29-2007 at 04:55 PM Same here. RE: Need opinions on new msgstuff.com by Lou on 08-29-2007 at 04:57 PM I don't think there's a need for everyone to confirm that the folder is empty. It's just empty, he's probably doing something to it. Give it some time. RE: Need opinions on new msgstuff.com by Patchou on 08-29-2007 at 09:26 PM
seems like there's no more beta page on the site? (I really like msgstuff so I'd like to see what'S changed). quote: RE: Need opinions on new msgstuff.com by user35870 on 08-29-2007 at 10:05 PM The beta site has been pushed to the main site - http://msgstuff.com RE: Need opinions on new msgstuff.com by absorbation on 08-29-2007 at 10:20 PM
Goodness me, data is everywhere at the moment. Right, it's up, it's stage 1 and the design will be tweaked tomorrow (as long as the features and data has been moved over most of my stress has gone). RE: Need opinions on new msgstuff.com by markee on 08-29-2007 at 11:24 PM
quote:Wow that's pretty big, my 1680x1050 is pretty good with it (for a static width at least). Personally I prefer dynamic backgrounds but meh, you get what you're given. RE: Need opinions on new msgstuff.com by RebelSean on 08-30-2007 at 03:42 AM Looking good, except, erm, any news I post won't show . quote: They don't know, but I added that months ago . There are a lot of changes Nathan, I've just been doing a lot of reading on how to monetize a website. I guess there are a lot more tools for that now. I'm sorting out news posters tomorrow as well, if anyone is still interested in being one feel free to contact me . RE: Need opinions on new msgstuff.com by Lou on 08-31-2007 at 12:56 AM I'm thinking you're paying more attention to the feedback here than over at msgstuff (which I'm hoping I'm wrong) so I'll post it here to be sure; your rss feed no longer works properly with iGoogle. The links point to http://www.msgstuff.com/news/post//. RE: Need opinions on new msgstuff.com by Voldemort on 08-31-2007 at 02:28 AM you need a forums tab kthx. RE: Need opinions on new msgstuff.com by prashker on 08-31-2007 at 02:51 AM Needs more cowbell. RE: Need opinions on new msgstuff.com by absorbation on 08-31-2007 at 08:30 AM

quote:Sure seems like it, even with the new posts, I still have the issue. RE: Need opinions on new msgstuff.com by the andyman on 09-01-2007 at 10:36 AM
quote:It's not fixed properly, you seem to have only fixed the url in the link tag not in the guid tag as well (unless FeedBurner haven't updated the feed in 48 hours which seems unlikely) |
